May I ask why there’s only a m1 release? I thought xcode would compile to multiple targets without change?
The Moonbit toolchain was not built using xcode tools, we will provide support for more platforms in the next few weeks.

Any news on this? I’m pretty keen on getting started with moonbit, but my main system is a Intel mac.
Just out of curiosity, what tool chain was used to build the moonbit binaries?
Hey there! Good news – the MoonBit toolchain is now available for Intel Macs, so you can get started with it on your main system. You can find the download at MoonBit’s download page.
As for the toolchain we used, the compiler was built with moon OCaml, and the build system was crafted using moon Rust.
